Default Pigeons

Hello dPs,

I took several photographs of these 2 subjects so I could experiment with aperture/shutter speed and I think this particular one came out the best (atleast I hope). The skies weren't as blue.

006

And the rest of the photographs are in this Set: Wildlife - a set on Flickr

Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T1i
Exposure: 0.003 sec. (1/320)
Aperture: f/14.0
Focal Length: 250 mm
ISO: 400
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Thanks for looking and critiquing my shot,

Frank

I think this would be really cute if you cropped it so the birds are on the right side of the photo with empty space on the left!

This is the cropped version...

Any other kind of post-processing I can add to this?

Thank you

Great! Looking better already. I think cropping a bit of the bottom off as well would be even better. If you want to keep this photo in color, it's too dark. I am not sure what you use to edit and if you can save it or not, but try adjusting the exposure and some fill light to see what you get. Otherwise, I think this could make a lovely Black and white shot with the birds in silhouette. Since the birds are pretty dark, I can't tell how in focus they are but try a few things, and then post it on here again

It might help for you to read the critique section rules and include more info. Thanks in advance for editing this post!

I use Photoshop Elements 10 and on occasion Photo Effects 3. I'll mess around with the exposure...fill light is new to me, but I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for the advice

More info meaning the conditions while taking the picture? Are edited photos allowed before the 24hr time period? I think mine was uploaded in the correct amount of time. What else needs to be changed? Thank you

Welcome to DPS.

I'm sure she was talking about a specific question. You didn't even ask anything in the OP.
