I was playing around with my camera when I noticed the cat was staring me down. I quickly snapped a pic and noticed it had a bluish tint to it. Quite a few of my photographs that I shoot indoors do that. I am a newbie so any critique you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Exif:
Camera: Nikon D3000
Shutter speed: 1/1000
Aperture: 6.3
ISO: 800
55mm

If you want to get rid of the bluish tint shoot in RAW and adjust the white balance in post production, or set in manually in-camera when you are indoors (check your cameras manual), also, even if the shot in JPEG, some editing softwares such as Lightroom allow you to "change" the white balance. That said, the bluish tint suits the photograph and it is a great shot, if you like editing, I would remove the cable wire behind him as it clutters the image.

Thanks for the advice. I think the blueness suits this photo too, but unfortunately not some of the others I have taken. I'm am going to try and remove the cables!
