Default Leopard side profile

Have been trying to decide if I can get away with this shot. Do I need to crop tighter and keep only the head, or would this cut it for you. PP is only the very basics in LR, no crop yet.

What would you do to this?

Leopard

Exposure 0.001 sec (1/1250)
Aperture f/4.0
Focal Length 200 mm
ISO Speed 400

Well, IMO it's a little overexposed, a little flat and the BG is noisy. I did one edit to fix these issues and a light crop..then I got stupid and did the second version.

The crop is fine, but I would maybe boost the contrast and add a tiny but of saturation to it. Not too much to overdo it

Thanks for the thoughts. I was feeling the same in most of these areas. I like your first, but to be absolutely honest the second one was great! Took the pussy cat away and put a lean mean fighting machine in its place. That is what a leopard should evoke in us!

I liked it, but it's definitely "stylized"....

I really like Sk's first photo edit. He really pulled out those beautiful eyes!

I think with big cats the eyes are the most important. They are so big and expressive. I would really work on the eyes and make them pop.

Beautiful photo! I really like the DOF!
