Hi I am just looking for some c&c on this photograph. What could be fixed or how it could have been shot differently? I feel like it is a good shot, I am just wondering how others feel...thanks!

It's a snapshot. There's trash in the background among other clutter. There is no connection between the subjects. The dog is definitely not happy with what's going on, which is evident in posture, ear set, and the white of the eyes.

I am definitely no professional - so here are just my initial thoughts. Personally I am struggling to get a focus point on the photo - maybe by throwing the background out of focus will help get rid of the clutter, an maybe crop or shoot the photo with a more close upof the dog so he/she takes more centre stage in the photo?

Thanks guys, it was just a snap shot when it took it, but whenever I see it I like it. The background cutter bothers me as well. It must be the dogs eyes that I like. Thanks for your time!
