Default Puppy Portrait

Hey I have just discovered my Canon 50mm 1.8 lens and am falling in love with it! This is one of the first shots I took with it. The main focal point of the photo was on his eyes but I am not sure if his nose being more out of focus takes away from his expression. Any comments would help! Thanks!

I like it. I'd prefer the nose to be more in focus, but I know you were just playing around with the lens. I'd do a tighter crop, the white on the one side is a bit distracting. Nice work, I love cute doggy faces.

For me, it all works. They eye contact and focus is perfect.

I love the shot -- I would clone out whatever that is on the bottom right by the nose, I find it distracting ... nice portrait!
