I shot these cute little things whilst bribing them with copious amounts of monkey nuts in St James' park in London they were very friendly and hungry !! what do you all make of the composition ?

Compositionally I think they both work well. I might crop a little more off the top of the first one but still works as is.

And I love that up ear in the first one, too cute.

I like the second one a lot bettter then the first. The second you actually did some work and moved closer to the ground to get below his eye level., the first one looks like someone would take with a point and shoot camera.

Well I only see the one which is really cute with the ear -- this is better than a point and shoot of any old squirrel because you have caught a funny moment and that's what I like to see ... a subject like this can be mundane and you have avoided that ...
