Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums and would really like some input on a few pictures.
I was gifted (well semi-gifted) my first DSLR, a Canon Rebel T3, on 10/27. These are from my first night of shooting. I was just playing around with my settings trying to see what works best in low light (as these were taken around 10 pm). How is the lighting? Did I do an okay job? Please let me know how I can improve. ![]() Shooting Mode Manual Exposure Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/10 Av( Aperture Value ) 7.1 ISO Speed 3200 Lens EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Focal Length 50.0mm ![]() *I know the white balance is way off (I now know how to fix this) but I actually like the warm tones within the picture. Her paw is over exposed, any tips on fixing it? I think your third shot is the best, although it still has some distractions in the background - nice portrait of your dog ...
