So hey everyone, its getting pretty close to halloween and although I don't celebrate much anymore, I swear this lil guy in my backyard does. hahaha.
Here's a picture of a Garden Spider that has been living in my backyard the last couple of days. Was looking for some ideas on the layout work. Does the spider work as an accent from the corner? I'm hoping for general critique on the shot, however know, I can't go back and re work it, sadly the spider stopped living in my garden as soon as the cold weather came about. I did some basic PP, ( which is the extent of what I will do) heightened the sharpness and contrast, and pulled some of the shadows. So I'm guessing this is not a crop and there's no more to work with on the left side of the spider? To me, there's way too much empty space on the right and the spider is crammed into one corner, not even on one of the third's ... I would try different crops and maybe even add some background to the left of the spider to get it away from the edge .... looks like you shot the bottom of the spider, probably would have been better to get the top/head ... looks pretty sharp though
