Red face B&W Hound

Trying my hand at some B&W's.

I know the framing is a bit off since her ear is cut off, that was the best I could get in a VERY short period of time since she was on the move.

Wondering about the darkness of the image. Is it too dark for a B&W image?

Pretty sweet shot IMHO. Love those eyes.

As to your question, doesn't look too dark for me except for the nose. If you have software with a dodge and burn tool, you might try dodging (lightening) just his nose to see if you can uncover a little detail.

And cute doggie, I just want to lean up to my screen and give him a kiss and scratch.

Thank you Karen

I was thinking her nose was a bit dark too but wasn't sure how to fix it. I will mess around and see if I can get more detail on her nose.

I love when she looks like that with her ears all up..lol..

What a cutie!!! The nose is a little dark, but I didn't notice it in the first glance. You did a great job focusing on the eyes!

Thank you . I haven't had a chance yet to see if I could lighten her nose. I thought the shot came out very well. I LOVE her eyes...so sad looking
