Default Cooper and the Ball

Hi All, first time post in the critique section. I just recently received my first DSLR as an anniversary gift and have been playing around to get a feel for things.

This shot was a "candid" in the backyard, brief pause in the action for our dog Cooper to check in before doing some more laps with his sister.

I don't have any PP software as of yet other than that which came with the Canon camera but I did play around a bit with the saturation to try and achieve a more subdued look, sharpness and crop.

Happy to be a part of the community and look forward to any and all critique.

Many thanks for looking.

I love this shot! I love how he is looking directly at the camera which is hard to photograph with animals since they are always moving. Very nice for a first post!

Very nicely done. It looks as if you've captured your dog perfectly. Congrats.
