Default Spider on a twig

I hand held this shot of a spider I found on a piece of Hosta and adjusted the white balance to give a little green tint to the background. I also cropped it from the original. Is the composition interesting? Other than using a tripod, having a macro lens, and a little better focus do you see ways to make the shot more interesting? I tried asking the spider to pose a little better but she was not really in a good mood, and I wasn't anxious to try repositioning her as I believe her bite may be worse than her bark.

This little guy freaks me out a little.... Okay never mind my aracnophobia.. I think the composition is interesting.. I know when I scrolled down to see the pic I got an instant feeling, fear, but that should be a compliment anyway because pictures should move us in some way or another.

Thanks for the comments- one thing about spiders in Maine is that they are not poisonous so the worst thing you get is a nasty bite-Snakes are no worries either even though some report rattlesnakes every now and then they really are never confirmed
