I really like this picture. The colors are really bright. And I love his pose, he made me smile! :-)
Looks like you did a great job editing it to me. I would just try cropping the other flamingos' legs out of the picture, the ones at the very top of the screen. They kind of distract you from the other flamingo. One thing I would have done differently, is when I took this, I would have put the Flamingo either more towards the right or the left of the image. (like you do when following the Rule of Thirds.) It makes it look more interesting than when you put your subject right in the middle.
