Hi all..
I'm new to this site.. so yeah.. here we go..

I need some critique/inspiration when it comes to shooting animals

For me either get a closer shot up around the face, or include all of the bird. Unfortunately you've cropped the tail.

If you shot in raw, try boosting some fill light to lift some of the shadows, and maybe bump the exposure a notch it seems a little underexposed.

Sharpness wise you seem to have got the bird nicely focused so can't fault you there.

Havn't really thought much about the tail being cropped before you mentioned it. thx. i'll make sure that i either go for the whole animal or just a close up
