Memorial photo

So, you might have read in the assignment-unusual viewpoints thread that my cat was very poorly... well, he passed away on Saturday.

I'm looking to get one of my recent photos of him good enough to print to hang in his room, but I've not been doing this long, and technically, creatively I'm not up to much, so I would appreciate as much help as I can get with what I've got.

I took the above shot relatively recently and I'd love some advice on how I can make it extra special. If you follow it to flickr you can see two others plus this image straight out of camera (just converted to tiff from RAW). I would love some advice on how to edit one of these to make the best print possible to remember him by.

For inspiration, I remember him as brave, intensely loyal and never giving up.
