Default Could it be that bad?

Hi all,
Yesterday I purchased a Nikon D3000 and oh my I'm not sure of the lens (I know I'm holding my head in shame. But I new to this so I promise to get my act together) but I wanted to see if it's just me or is my subject blurry or is it just me. I think I moved a little but I tried to hold my breath while taking it. Any comments and or suggestion would be great! Thanks gang.

When dealing with softness issues, you really need to include the EXIF data requested in the forum rules. Without that, it's difficult to suggest fixes.
