Default Facing my phobia!! C & C please

I have a phobia of lizards! This little guy was outside my condo every day for the week I was on vacation. I finally decided to take a few pics.
How is my composition?

I'm glad you did not center your subject. I would prefer another composition where his tail is not cut off, though. Maybe landscape orientation would have worked better.

First of all well done for facing your phobia! I have a phobia of snails so I know how it feels from a fellow phobic's point of view.... As for the photo. I like it! I like the green lizard agains the blue of the sea. I would have cropped the grass out of the bottom left of the pic but that's just me

What a great shot! I really enjoy seeing the difference in the subject and the background. Too bad the tail was cut off but hey you over came your fears, which is great! Nice job!

I agree on the tail issues but other than that its a nice shot. I would suggest keep the vertical orientation over portrait as both the lizard and branch are vertical & to me a landscape switch would detract from the impact.
