I think its a lovely cat. My only "critique" would be that the cat doesn't look very "black". Other than that he/she looks very happy to have the photot taken. Cute cat and a cute pose.

Thanks for the critique. Here's the pre-conversion. I wanted it to be a light shot, I'm not a fan of dark and heavy B&W.

I know what you mean. I have to confess that I like the original! What unusual colouring. He almost looks sunkissed. Still a great photo.

I like the original, color version better than the b&w. It just seems to have more life to it in color. I usually prefer b&w photos, but in this case, the color one strikes me.
