MallardDuckling | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
This is my first post and my irst animal shot. He kind of snuck up on me. Is he too close? Do I need more detail in the picture? |

I just started in phtography. I was using the creative setting (CA) where they have presettings. this specific one was "vivid" mode on medium (2/3) setting.
I don't know how much that helps. I have been studying up on the camera and will be shooting in Av more to get better. I will try to be more specific next photo. |

However regarding this shot - personally i feel that the vivid mode made it a little too saturated for my tastes. Experiment with A S and M and you'll have a lot of fun Good luck!

I think perhaps the back ground is a little bit busy but the duck it's self is a cute subject. Keep shooting and sharing! |
