Have you done any post processing on this? The photo looks very plain. Composition looks great for me but the lighting part could be improve. I did a minor retouch. I will remove from my account once you take a look at it. Let me know.

i had done no PP. had a look at the picture it looks vastly improved. my post processing knowledge is very limited could do with some help

Yes..you did a nice job on the photo...but familiarize yourself with some post processing programs if you can...even little tweaks can mean a ton to a well composed but "flat" photo...you tube has many videos on Photoshop Elements...and you can pick that up usually with a nice rebate at Costco...about $99...if you're just beginning, no need to get the full fledged Photoshop...good luck...enjoy the journey.
