Cropping question

The peacock is surrounded by dead leaves, so I cropped everything except the bird itself. Any comments on the result would be appreciated. Does the peacock need more "context"?

Yep, too tight. Even though it is just dead leaves you still need something to separate the subject from the edges unless you crop to just the head and shoulders. Getting the leaves out of focus is going to be fairly tough with out PP in photoshop or some other. Jim

I agree, too tight. It looks like you cropped it's legs off (even though they are really just hidden)
