Default Feedback on cropping and question please?

I'm going to post this again and hope I got it right. Second attempt at first post.

Fireside 3-19-11 29 Frodo mod | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

How should I change this photo? Should I crop it differently? Is is distracting that his tail is hidden? I love the light.

Thanks.

If you look above your photo in flickr you will see a button that says "share this". Copy the HTML/BBCode from there and paste it in your thread.

I really like this shot. I like the way your dog is backlit with just enough light to see some detail. The hidden tail doesn't bother me so much as the plant that's hiding it. It is outside the DOF and the blur is a little distracting. Nice shot!

nice shot.
the tail would be an improvement, but overall it is a lovely shot. Unless you are confident in the quality of the detail of the fur, I would not crop tighter. This crop puts the dog in a specific location, the space is important.

I wouldn't crop it at all. Looks great.

In my opinion, I love this shot...no need for further modification, what i like most is the white light that outline the dog figure.

I think that it's a fine shot and I wouldn't crop either.
