Default Coyote Photo

I took this picture out at the Ft. Worth Zoo and I really appreciate some feedback on this photo. I am relative new to photography and am really starting to seriously getting into this art form. I would really appreciate any and any comments that would assist me in taking a better shot.

When I originally upload this file to flicker I guess that the exif file was not captured but I will dig through my computer to see if I can locate the original file.

Please be kind this is my first post

This would be far more interesting if we could see more of him. His face his hidden and proves to be a distraction. You've lost your main focal point

If this was intended to be an illlustration of how well some animals blend into their surroundings, then this was a success. However, we normally want to present people, and animals as well, in their native settings, but just slightly separated from the background. In this image, foreground, subject and background all kind of blend in together. Interesting, but not normally the way we make great photographs.
