Default Creepy close up of UGLY bug

I think this is a Rhino Beelte grub. Anyway, I want to know a few things.
Would this be considered a close up or a macro
Does it need more color (saturation)? I did try to add a bit of color but then he didn't look natural but it looks a little dull to me.
Could I have cropped or shot at a different angle?
Is it sharp enough?
Over all impression.

Looks plenty sharp enough to me, and yes, I think that's pretty close to natural color. Maybe you'd want to shoot him under a disco ball or something... ;-)
