Default Landing in Water?

Hi,

I tried a lot to capture this with my Simple point and shoot.Tell me about the composition and overall impression of this snap.

I really like the interplay between the bird, the shadow and the reflection.

Other than that, i think your camera is what, in the end, hurts this image the most because it's simply not sharp enough for me. The shutter speed is fast enough to freeze the action, but it's still blurry.

Also, compositionally, always consider leaving more space in the direction the subject is moving (or looking) as it feels, right now, that the bird is too close to the right side of the frame with too much dead space on the left.

Considering the limitations of your camera, you did a pretty good job. Just work on making your composition stronger and it'd be a better shot.

I think one is a shadow & the other is a reflection.

I would love to see this as a tighter crop with the bird to the left of the frame as BigFuzzy suggested.
