Hi!! Shot this curious birdie at the zoo. Would like your thoughts on composition and post-processing or on any other aspect of the photo which can be improved. TIA.

The colors and contrast are great... I love the eye through the fence and the out-of-focus birds behind him.
But I found myself searching for the point of interest when I first pulled up the photo. I feel like the fence on the left is just dead space. Composition-wise, I'm not sure it's adding anything for me. |

@ Jim Poor & jentenna : Thank you both for taking the time to comment. I framed the shot keeping in mind the rule of thirds, guess it dint work for this photo.
