I like the composition...the blur of the background is good...there is a little white spot on the chest between the bird and the background maybe a fix there would not draw my eye to it...I also think a tighter crop would be more visually appealing!

i didnt notice the white mark on the chest, i will remove it cheers.. ill see what a tighter crop will achieve you maybe right, although i did crop a little to sit the robins eye on the thirds line, i made some adjustments to the original photo does anyone think that that is too tight a crop? No worries, we like for you to try and ask something a bit more specific that you are wanting help with is all. Could be something along the lines of composi8tion, colors, settings, crop or anything at all. Just helps us to know where your mind set is at

Really nice shot but something bothers me...I don't know maybe it's just me, but it seems like you have a little camera movement here, you did everything good but your object and mostly this tree under it seems blurry from camera movement, so I wouldn't suggest you tightening crop any more
It would look better if you could focuse on her head or eye instead her body...but still great capture |

Nice colors for sure and the composition is not bad either. What kills the photo is that it's blurry. While there may be some camera shake involved at the shutter speed / focal length combination you have, the bigger issue is that the shutter speed is too slow to freeze the subject motion.
Take a close look at the bird's left (viewer's right) foot and you'll see that it is moving and not in contact with the perch. Birds don't sit still very well and you need a much faster shutter speed that what you had here to freeze it. |
