Since the weather isn't cooperating to take much new, I decided to revisit some older shots. We were fortunate enough to visit the Smithsonian Nation Wild Animal Park in Washington, D.C. last summer. I worked with this guy in PP. My main concern is the exposure. Is the background overexposed and distracting?

Camera was set on automatic. I had only owned the camera for a couple of weeks at this point in time.

I love this picture. The light and composition are fine (the bokeh is particularly nice), the focus is bob-on sharp and the pp is suitably non-intrusive. I don't find the background distracting, although perhaps it could benefit from being slightly less exposed on the left (or maybe the brightest part could be cropped out?) -- that's ultra-picky, though! Overall, top marks, and thanks for sharing.

Nice shot Christina! Croping some of hte left part would definately help. There is shadow on the eye, the picture would have looked even better had the light been on the face and eye.
