Default Icy drink

This is a shot i just grabbed while we were breaking ice for the cows. I know the composition isnt great, but i would like ya'lls opinion on it.

i think the shot is too tight... maybe go wide a little bit or step back a little so that you can place the drinking cow as the main subject. include the sky a little bit to lighten the mood, and make sure somewhere the skyline is visible so that the photo would have more perspective / depth

Wow, that looks cold! Hard to tell what I'm looking at to begin with. Perhaps you could've tried taking a shot of several cows drinking - maybe lined up along the edge.

Ilike the shot. coming from a farm I know you were lucky to get so many in focus at once! I love the sharpness of bossy that is drinking. and the curiosity of the younger fella in the back I wish he had his ears all in tack. Never the less telling the story of a rancher out tending to the herd on a cold sunny day!
Thanks for sharing.
I like shots like this as desktop wall paper in the summer!
