i don't know what to change, but this shot works for me. a bit gloomy and pensive. like she know's somethings brewing. i like that you can see her eyelashes too. draws me right in...

Nice photo. I lise it that the foreground is in focus but the background slightly out.

Maybe you could try a slightly shorter focal length (if your lens has one) or pull back slitly to encompass a bit more of the background? The horse is a lovely subject but it's not really a landscape shot like this, and the horse is slightly out of context. However that's not a criticism of this shot, on it's own the shot is very nice.. Just an idea for something different
