Default Clapper Rail?

I'm a newbie to the critique part of this site.I'm also an ametuer photographer trying to setup a webpage that will show some of my work.So I'm here to get some input.I'm wondering about my composition/exposure and whatever else that may or may not catch your eye.Please be honest I appreciate constructive criticism.Thank You!!!

Default No critique?

Just wondering why photo hasn't yet been critiqued.I have done what was asked to by editing my thread.What do I need to do now?I wake up so excited everyday to see what people think and still nothing

It's not uncommon for things to not get critiqued for a while, and occasionally at all. Sometimes people don't comment if they aren't seeing anything drastically wrong. Don't take it as a slight.

I think the exposure and color are good. The focus looks crisp. The outstanding thing that bothers me is you chopped his tail off. Had you composed a little more to the left you would have kept the tail, and also removed the dark stick/reed and shadow on the right.

Thank you so much!!!Now I am so Motivated all over again! I will re-crop the photo to get the ugly stick out but unfortunately I was unable to capture the tail in the original.

Honestly, I didn't even notice the tail being cropped off until I read IABoomer's comment. I agree that it would be beneficial to crop the stick/shadow out of the upper right. The clarity is beautiful and I love the DOF.
