Default Monarch Butterfly on Joe Pye Weed

One of hundreds of Butterfly shots from my garden this past summer. I liked the sharpness of the Monarch and the colors.

Canon XSi
EF-S 55-250mm @ 179mm
Handheld
Aperture f/5.6
Shutter 1/100
ISO 800

Post Processing: Cropped about 5% off RAW image, changed from As Shot lighting to Cloudy

I hope the attachment works; I couldn't figure out how to link to my Flickr (dandjtaylor2003)

I see both of them in the thread. I see it in the preview as well. What am I doing wrong. I would prefer just using my FLICKR but those come up as "invalid". I'm obviously new in here. I can use all the help I can get at the details of the site.

Thanks

Thanks, Joker. A little brighter, I agree. I am still trying to get the proper color agreements between screen, print and others' monitors. Unfortunately, too, the Joe Pye Weed, while very attractive to my "little friends", isn't the most colorful of the garden.

Great picture, I enjoyed the flicker site shots as well. I agree though this one could use a bit more color! I do like the the DOF as well as the composition of the shot!
