Canon 550D

Lens : 70-300mm

spot metering

Is the image sharp enough? What post processing could have been done to improve the quality of the image?

Good shot but u haven't given any EXIF data. Also please post a little larger size because I cannot open the larger version of your photograph.
Also you haven't asked for any comments.
I also like to know how u took it, beacuse i also tried to click a flying bird but it was not so crystal clear.

Considering you took this at 5.6 it's very clear .. well done! I would take out some dead space so the image is a little larger and position the bird in the upper right third so it has some room to fly into ... nice capture
