Question Lazy Kitty!
What are you doing?

What can I do to make it better? I am new to photography. I would like to know if the lighting is good or the subject is the focus.

Camera Canon Rebel T1i
Exposure 0.04 sec (1/80)
Aperture f/5.6
Focal Length 55 mm
ISO Speed 800
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Exposure Program Manual

It's not in focus - you want the eye to be razor sharp ... it also seems underexposed. A smaller aperture will get more of the cat's face in focus ... and you need a light source I think. Keep trying!
