When I am photographing animals I get a bit nervous and tense as far as how close to get to them in order to get a good shot as well as trying to create a good composition fast enough so that I don't miss out on a photo op. I took this photo when I was touring the Mayan Ruins of Copan in Honduras. I would love some feed back on it.

Not sure what you are wanting feed back on exactly but I will say this, this is a beautiful shot of the Macaw eating. I lived in Panama City, Panama for a few years and dearly miss seeing these wonderful birds.

Sorry about that. I guess I wasn't super clear. I'm very new to this. Does the picture work compositionally? Does it need to be cropped in any way? And does anyone have any advice for me about how to create a compositon when shooting wildlife, considering there may be a limited amount of time to capture what I want. Thanks!

The clarity and colors are wonderful. Not so sure I'm fond of the background tho. The tail end of the other bird is a bit distracting.
