Default Busy Bee's - exposure white balance

exif info
Model:Canon EOS 20D
Shutter Speed:1/400 second
Aperture:F/11.0
Focal Length:102 mm
ISO Speed:400

I think my composition and color is okay however i would like feedback on exposure white balance Feel free to critique anything you feel needed but please talk about exposure and white balance. I don't get the depth or color with in the bee's is there any way to get that with out doing HDR?
Thank you in advance for your time and feedback.

I don't really see any problems with your exposure or WB. 1/400 captured their 'movement' nicely, in which they are not blurred.

I'm not sure what you mean by Depth of Color. ???

To me , the image looks underexposed and the white ballance is off as well.

If you look at the individual Red/Blue/Green histograms, you will see the right side is not even, showing the whitebalance isn't neutral.

The depth of color is more of a contrast / levels adjustment.
