Default Snail 17

Back Home

Shot this early morning after a heavy down pour. Why too much of the background? Wanted to catch the rain drops on the branch.

Default Snail 17

Sorry, my mistake for not reading the guidline carefully. I took the shot with the following settings-

Nikon D5000
@ f5.0 , SS 1/25 and ISO 200
Manual Mode with Nikon 55 - 300mm lens at 165mm
No flash was fired
Metering was set to center weight with WB @ auto
And edited using CS5 ( ACR )

Tq.

Well even though there is a lot of back ground it is one of the better snail pictures I have seen! Most of them are boring, this has some color. Wishing the focused branch was a little closer to him on the left to help frame the snail a little more.
