Default My Cat, Gizmo

IMG_0107.jpg

Taken on a Canon 50d with a kit lens I am borrowing from a friend until my own arrives.
Only started taking photos last week so please critique away.
Thanks

I didn't even really notice the right eye until it was mentioned above. It is a little distracting once you notice it, but I don't think its overwhelmingly obvious.

Love the composition and color of the picture. Also love the pose, I think it shows lots of personality

Hey

Thanks for you kind words and comments. Do you mean my cats right eye or right eye as you look at it. I can not see that Gizmo's right eye is very bright and does draw attention to it. I will look out for this next time.
Thanks

I love the black and white AND your composition...but as before mentioned..I DID notice the right eye...kitty has one pupil larger than the other or so it seems and it is distracting...not sure if that is physiological or an effect of the flash (did you use one?)..might want to try again...but otherwise, the photo is very pleasing to me...

I just want to give Gizmo and big cuddle! I think its a wonderful shot. You've really captured a cute moment and what I like about the composition is that its taken from floor level.

He looks very fluffy and soft to touch.

Both my cats died this year so it warms my heart to see cute kitties.
