Default bird watching

I took this photo a while back and started to clean it up ...
I like the photo but think there may be something lacking

Hi, tidbit - Welcome to DPS.

Very cute puppy!

My quick take is that the background is a bit too busy (concrete, grass, lines, etc). And maybe a bit more contrast and a touch brighter might help?

Do you happen to have a color version that you could post? I'd be curious to see what it looks like in color.

I think the picture would look better with the dog slightly to the left. Right now my eye is drawn to the the dog's right eye which is not in focus the left eye is in focus but to far to the right in the frame. JMHO

This strangely looks like this should be in a game.

Do you have the SOOC version of the photo that you can post?
