Default Catmint

This is my cat hiding in a catmint bush. As you can see, he's pretty well obscured in there, but I've always liked the "peering out of the bush" look. I'd like to hear your thoughts on composition & focus, though.

Exif: Panasonic FZ28, F/4.0, 1/160, ISO 100, 347mm.

I like the idea of the photo, David, but the fact that one of the eyes is mostly covered by a leaf makes it lose some impact. For me the most effective "peering" photos are those in which the eyes are the focus. I know it's difficult to get felines to alter a pose but if the eyes were clearer, you'd have a good shot!

Yes I agree great concept and a pretty good photo but I feel it would be much better if we could see both eyes and a little bit more of the face. Though we all know you take what you can get when working with animals
