Default Butterfly

Hi,

This butterfly was shot in the evening 4:30 pm.
Since I am already continuing a thread about how to attach the EXIF info in a image after shooting in RAW mode, I have attached the EXIF info as a separate screen shot.

Please review the color composition, pre-processing and other important aspect of the photo.

Looks Like Girl Friend.

Regards.

First thing I noticed is the butterfly is smack dab in the middle. Altho that isn't a HUGE problem it might hold a bit more interest if the crop held a little more true to the rule of thirds. Leave a bit more room in the front of the butterfly for room to fly off.

I did not understand the meaning of smack dab.
I also did not understand the meaning of this sentence. : Altho that isn't a HUGE problem it might hold a bit more interest if the crop held a little more true to the rule of thirds.

smack dab means right int he middle of the frame. Using the rule of thirds to create a crop that might be more visually appealing. By not putting your subject right in the middle, crop your image so the butterfly is more to the left, leave a little more room to the front of it to give it the appearance of having room to fly off

I agree with the note about composition. The visual contrast of the butterfly on the rusty barbed-wire fence, though, is really great.
