Default Ladybug, Ladybug

Hi everybody,

I apologize but I don't have specifics to ask about this photo. It is one of those photos where I am really happy with it and love how it turned out, however I'd like to see what others think. Don't think you will hurt my feelings if you don't like it or something is obviously wrong with it. I just like to know how my eye is, I am still very new to photography.

Thanks everyone

Lovely shot, I like this a lot. Like the slight sun flare in the top corner and the placement of the ladybug in the frame. Colours and DOF are great too. Only thing that could've made it better would be if the ladybug was walking UP the stalk instead of down. But I hear they are notoriously hard to train!

This is very interesting. I really like the DOF, and the bright red ladybug against the soft earthy colors gives the photo a nice, contrasting feel.

Nice work :-)

I think it is a very strong composition, the bright red of the Ladybug against the muted colors really make the photo.

Woohoo! thanks you guys!!

Ngaihill, good point! Next time I will pluck it off and point it the other direction! Haha... but it would look a bit cooler if it was walking up.

Thanks for the boost of confidence you guys!!!!
