Default First Posted Photo Ever (Spider)

Hello all,
Im a newbie here and this is my fist posting ever. I don't have a very expesive camera. Its a kodack point and shoot type with very little manual adjustments. Im just a beginner so take it easy on me.

this was what was staring at me the other night on my porch.

Thanks so much, I really am just starting to take picutures. I appriciate your comment. I don't even have a decent camera yet, I'll get one some day though, after I get some more experience.

Remember, the photographer makes the camera, not the other way around.

Sure i only say this cause i have a crappy P&S with NO manual control except P....

That is a solid shot, don't knock a point and shoot. I always have mine in the car and ready. I have posted a few of my shots of hummingbirds and closeup shots using a point and shoot. I did not have the correct lens for the SLR on when I spot something I am not going to fool with changing lenses but grab a camera I can use quickly. I would suggest a bride type camera, has more features than standard point and shoot but don't have to fool with lenses changes of a SLR.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I'll check out your suggestion, this is the camera I use (for now!)

Some of the stuff on here is so good its hard not to be a little intimadated. thanks for making me feel welcome.

kb,

I agree with Jonbar18, the photographer makes the camera. It's a very good catch, keep shooting and take plenty of pictures whenever you can, you'll learn from each and every one.
