Default Swallowtail butterfly sitting on a flower

Hello,

I just got my first DSLR about 2 months ago, so I am still trying to learn about composition, exposure and just about everything else. I am interested in hearing any feedback for these two (or any!) areas with regards to this photo. I didn't do any photoshop adjustments either, so feel free to comment on that as well. This is my first photo and post on DPS. Thanks so much for the input!! I apologize if this is incorrectly posted...

Very nice photo! Personally I'd crop it so that there would only be the butterfly and the flower (horizontal frame). The flowers on the sides are more of a distraction, they don't bring anything necessary in the photo, in my opinion.
