Cool Old Elephant

Hello. I would like to hear your opinion on this shot. Mainly composition, is there to much open space on the right? Any critique is welcomed and appreciated.
I know that it is a bit dark in some places, I was actually busy deleting the photo because the exposure was totally off but then I though of converting it to duo tone and I liked the result.
Thanks in advance.

I'd crop it much tighter around the elephant. At least half of that tree away from the left. I think it's too over-powering when the elephant is the one who should be the main object. Personally I don't mind the right side. It shows a little of the background which is nice. It brings a little depth into it.

Thank you for the advice, I tried it and it I think it does look a lot better, only problem is now someone is going to criticize me about the whole rule of thirds thing and the elephant is too central, but rules are made to be broken, the new version is on my flickr photo stream.

Yes, rules are meant to be learned first, then to be broken. And when the photo is more of a square, it doesn't really matter if the object is in the center. Personally I think it wouldn't look good if a subject would be too much off-center in a square photo.
And the photo does look better now. =) I'm glad my advice was useful.
