That is a good shot Tracy well done. Don`t forget to add the exif detail ( iso, shutter speed etc) And don`t forget the earth wind and fire project hehe

The colors appear to be washed out here. What is the EXIF data?

I agree that it is a nice shot of the bird, but looks somewhat washed out. I think a little post processing would clean it right up. The exif data is available on Flickr (but I don't remember all of it now... hmmm... 1/320, f5.6, 150mm, Pentax I think, or something like that). I'm also thinking that it might benefit from having more negative space to the left of the bird, if there is/was any available.

If memory serves me right, this is a Kookabura or some other related Kingfisher. I'm not really up on Australian birds but it looks like eucalyptus in the background, so I'm assuming this was taken in Australia or a zoo.
