Default Cat sleeping, Composition and changes ok?

Ik was in the attic and the cat was keeping me company.
Since i'm not really able to move due to a broken toe, i was limited in the angle where i could picture him

this left me with tricky lighting due to the sun giving backlight through a red curtain. I tried a bit with a long shutter time and wide aperture and still low ISO as my camera gives a lot of noise with higher ISO ratings. My desk was my support to avoid movement.

my questions are is the composition ok? i tried to keep his ear into the frame and his leg and eye are the cross points in the third rules.

are the changes i applied to remedy lighting and ok? i lowered the temperature of the colours, lowered the exposure of the sofa in front of him and reduced the saturation of the green.

kind regards,

Jeroen

Using the light through the red curtain probably isn't optimal here. Unfortunately it has left the cat looking quite pink, which without the explanation about the curtain just looks like it's not quite right. You may be able to turn the cat white again with some aggresive white balance adjusting. I think I also might crop as much off the bottom as I could. That green fabric where it folds downward doesn't really add to the shot.
