Ring Tailed Lemur

Guys,

Went to a local wildlife park today and got a chance to try a 70-300mm Tamron lens. Pretty impressive stuff.

Anyway here is a shot I would like critique on. I would really love your thoughts on composition, whether the shot works in terms of character and lighting etc. I have made a few minor tweaks in iphoto to the shot but nothing major.

Hi, i'm a newbie occasionally asking for critique too so pls regard the critique as such... i like the expression, nice detail on the white fur... very animal portrait.... the thing that's bugging me is the line cutting across his head, the lighter whitish colour bokeh... just seem to be distracting... good moment spoiled by minor details...anyway good job nevertheless...
