I took a bunch of pictures the last time I went to the Toronto Zoo, and I only managed to nab a couple of good ones (somewhere in the range of 1 picasa-worthy photo for every 100
). This photo was the result of almost pure luck, as I was alerted to this butterfly by a friend and quickly snapped the image.
Shot with a Nikon D5000 and the 55-200mm VR Lens ISO 400, 116mm, f/4.8, 1/1000 sec, no flash, camera was on shutter-priority mode. I needed to specify my shutter speed because the butterflies didn't like staying still for very long! I'm looking for any comments on processing the image, as I am very new to any processing (I used Adobe Lightroom 2), though any general critiques would be appreciated!
