I took a picture of the bird and this is how it came out. I always thought a picture of birds in motion must be very sharp. This picture is not totally sharp because of the bird moving, but i must admit i very much like that shot.

you should use a faster shutter speed to stop the motion of your subject....like 1/200 or faster..... play with the faster shutter speeds and see what works best for you....take lots of shots...to get that 'frozen' look....but i like the blur and the sense of movement with this shot...i like it as it is..... maybe some others would not...my personal preference....good job...
