Default Nursing Calf

I was driving down a country road last month, which I often due just to find stuff to take pics of, and I seen a herd of cows in a corral. I slowed the car down and took this picture of a calf nursing, along with a few others, through my rolled down passenger window. They were just even with my car from where they were standing. I would like comments on any aspect of the picture. Thanks!

hi and welcome. So ...i'm not sure there is a whole lot right with this image sorry to say. But what I would do for next time... Go ahead and get out of the car, you might be able to find a perspective where the fence ins't in the shot or at least isn't such a commanding part of the frame. I don't see anything that's really in sharp focus, maybe the car was moving a bit or your camera had a hard time figuring out what to focus on. Also finding a different point of view may have afforded you a look at the calf that better shows the eyes or more clearly shows the suckling, some point of interest that draws the eye into the frame. good luck and have fun.

HI, I agree with ZONA5101, about this shot. You have distracting elements in the picture that take away from this tender and nourishing moment for the calf. I would have moved in closer and squeezed a shot between those horizontal bars.
Better luck next time!
